Distance learning at BTI

Distance learning is mostly conducted through our student portal ‘BTI Online’. Depending on your chosen programme, the structure of how you learn offsite may differ, however you could learn via streaming lecture presentations online, participating in tutorials via online tools including Zoom and Moodle, interacting with staff and peers, submitting assignments and more.

Policies and support

Personal email is governed by the BTI Student Policies – ‘SG.26 Usage of BTI Computing Resources’ and policy ‘P.11 IT Services Acceptable Use’. See Policies page to read these.

You are responsible for making yourself familiar with these policies and keeping within their parameters. You can view the policy online and on BTI Online.

If you have problems with logging on or problems with access you can contact Academic Support academicsupport@bti.ac.nz.
