Biography

Sophia is a Registered Social Worker (BSW) from Waikato University and has a Post Grad Cert in Responding to Trauma from BTI

She is currently working towards completing a MCouns at Waikato University while currently taking on a position of Educator within the SoSP (Social Work) Team.

Sophia is a Board member for the Tauranga Community Foodbank.

Her professional experience includes – Community Social Work with the aim to create lasting social change by focusing on the strengths and capacities of communities

Skills – Advocacy, Collaboration, Prevention, Cultural Competence.

 

In her free time, Sophia enjoys gardening and kayaking. Both pastimes help her to relax and connect with nature.
