Biography
I am a Narrative Therapist with a passion for holistic wellbeing and working alongside people in ways that foster hope, dignity, and preferred identities. With a background in nursing, my practice is grounded in compassion and shaped by a narrative understanding that people are separate from their problems, creating space for hope and collaborative conversations that honour each person’s story and strengths.
I have also completed a 500-hour Christ-centred yoga teacher accreditation, which has enriched both my personal wellbeing journey and my therapeutic practice through an emphasis on stillness, embodiment, and holistic care. This training has also sparked an ongoing interest in continuing education and research exploring how narrative therapy, mindfulness, and greater awareness of the somatic body can support people in reconnecting with preferred identities and ways of being.
I live in Tauranga with my husband Shaun, our three teenage daughters, and our Cavoodle, Arwen. I enjoy time in nature and value practices of stillness, reflection, and faith that continue to shape both my life and work.
