At BTI, you will learn from staff who are experienced teachers and educators, researchers, practitioners, health workers and graduates themselves. Many have worked in private practice, for public institutions and for universities in Aotearoa New Zealand and overseas.
Biography
Joanne is the Team Leader of the Admin and Support Services team and enjoys bringing together the threads of the team to create a harmonious tapestry of administrative treasure. She has been involved with BTI since 2004 after moving to Tauranga from the Gold Coast, Australia.
She feels blessed to be employed at BTI, where faith and vocation are integrated, and being involved in the Executive Leadership team she represents the ‘ground level’ of BTI, with extensive knowledge of the administration roles from student application through to Graduation.
Originally from Australia, she has been married to Graeme for nearly 20 years, and has two teenagers – Sophie and Wesley who are both currently students at Bethlehem College. Outside of work, she spends much of her time ferrying her children to various events both sporting and social, and in her rare downtime loves a good book, baking, paddle boarding and spending time with friends and family.
