University monitors acclaim BTI programmes
BTI | Te Whare Tauira O Peterehema has once again been given the highest possible rating, Category One, in a recent External Evaluation and Review (EER) by the New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA). You can read the EER report here.
The report states that NZQA is “highly confident in Bethlehem Tertiary Institute’s educational performance” and “highly confident in BTI’s self-assessment capability.” These are the highest possible ratings.

BTI is currently New Zealand’s only approved and accredited Christian-based degree provider for early childhood education (ECE). This means if you study ECE at BTI you will be among a select group who can integrate their faith with their professional practice as an early childhood teacher.
